Instructions:
1. Click on the template thumbnails and print out the patterns to fit the printer paper. You can then create permanent templates by gluing each pattern page to the back side of a cereal box or similar type of cardboard. Then cut out each piece out. This is recommended when working with a group.
2. Trace the permanent templates on the appropriate colored cardstock and cut each piece out.
3. Now you will start dressing your pilgrims.
For the female pilgrim, you will first glue the boots onto the body piece. Then glue the remaining pieces on in the following order: dress, apron, bow, hair, white bonnet piece, black bonnet piece (glue this behind the head) and then glue the hands underneath the arms of the dress. Add the facial features now to the pilgrim girl. Take a white pencil and enhance the black outlines of the dress.
For the male pilgrim, you will first glue the boots onto the body. Then glue the remaining pieces on in the following order: pants, white belt (cut a strip out that measures 1 cm high and the width of the body), the jacket with arms, the jacket piece without arms, the collar, the hat, the hat band and then the hands underneath the arms. Add the facial features now to the pilgrim boy. Take a white pencil and enhance the black outlines of the dress. Use dimensional paint to add a buckle to the hat band and buttons to the jacket.
